Our Mission

Implementing a holistic approach to ending the cycle of homelessness in families and young adults aging out of foster care in Middle Tennessee.

Our Vision

To create a housing community and support network for young adults aging out of the foster network in Middle Tennessee, and families currently housed in temporary shelters.

Statistics

1 in 5 youth will experience homelessness
1 in 5 youth aging out of the foster system will experience homelessness.
50 percent are unemployed at age 24
Only 50% of foster kids who age out of the system will have some form of gainful employment by age 24.
less than 3 percent earn a college degree

There is less than 3% chance for children that age out of foster care to earn a college degree.

two thirds will be pregnant by age 21
7 out of 10 girls that age out of foster care will become pregnant by age 21.
