More About Stories and Tails:

Second Story as teamed up with a local animal sanctuary for the Stories and Tails Program.

This program pairs foster children, with reading assistance dogs.

Studies have shown that when children read to a dog, their reading rates, accuracy, fluency, and comprehension improve. Reading to a dog helps children unwind and stay on task.

Reading is so fundamentally important to success later in life!

Your monetary donation helps Second Story provide the children in the foster network with books they can keep. It also helps build a library for all the children in foster housing. You can also find a wish list of books on Amazon.com to purchase directly (click on the Amazon Logo below).
